Nestling between the rolling hills of Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor National Park, Polhilsa Farm is a 350 acre working farm. Easily accessible via road, we are approximately a half-hours drive from Plymouth or ten minutes from the gateway of Cornwall at Launceston.
Located almost centrally between the North and South Coast, Polhilsa proves to be an ideal base for visitors. Several beaches are only a short drive away as are the many National Trust properties found throughout Devon and Cornwall. The south cornish fishing harbours of Looe and Polperro are easily reached, and Tintagel on the north coast is only a little further afield.
The National Marine Aquarium situated on Plymouths historical barbican is easily accessible as is Cornwalls fascinating Eden Project.
An abundance of quiet country walks can be found in the area and subject to availability, cycles may be hired to tour the tranquil country lanes. Kit Hill rises prominently only a couple of miles away. The climb to the top affords superb far-reaching views across East Cornwall, West Devon and south to the English Channel. A host of golf clubs are also located within easy driving distance, together with plenty of attractions to occupy the family.
